New – Catskill Animal Sanctuary

One of the newest additions to our site is Catskill Animal Sanctuary, which provides a 148-acre refuge in New York’s Hudson Valley for hundreds of farmed animals rescued from cruelty, neglect, and abandonment.  Between 250 and 350 animals live at the sanctuary at any given time.

The sanctuary also educates people about veganism through an innovative “Compassionate Cuisine” culinary program, and is open for regular tours.  You can even stay overnight at its guest house.

You can support Catskill Animal Sanctuary’s work by sending its holiday cards;  each represents a $5 donation.
